The Only Method That Consistently Delivers The Best Results

Try new things like braiding your hair, and stretching out the days that you go in between your washes (but not too many).

Use dry shampoo (a lightweight one is imperative to not create buildup).

I recommend Goldie Locks Dry Shampoo Powder

Brush your hair! This is super important so you can avoid any matting of your hair and the extension hair.

Remember the hair is more fragile when wet. I recommend brushing your hair out before washing, and be extra careful when brushing it wet.

Avoid brushing on top of the weft line, rather underneath the weft line with counter pressure on your attachment points.

If you are too aggressive with brushing it can disrupt the wefts making it so they need to be replaced much sooner than normal.

*Try a top knot, not the one where you rake the hair through the scrunch a bunch of times; think Ballerina bun, with a nice coil.

I have a “Quick Bun” tutorial on my IG page for reference @Hair.Extensions.byKristin

  • Please do not wash or blow-dry your extension hair upside down.

  • Sleep with a silk or satin pillowcase and/or bonnet as well as satin/silk scrunchies. This will help preserve your style keep your hair feeling new and maintain the longevity of the hair.

  • Use a sunscreen that does not contain avobenzone.

  • Everyone, especially if you have blonde or light extensions, should have a shower head filter.

  • Please also consider using Goldie Locks products. Safe for extensions and super hydrating. I am loving their performance!
